Palouse Brand is a 5th generation, family-owned and vertically-integrated farm in Washington State. We are committed to preserving our natural resources and treating them with care, growing crops that naturally replenish the soil's nitrogen levels. All Palouse Brand products are non-irradiated and guaranteed to sprout. Our story began over a century ago, as we have been a family-owned farm for five generations, growing, processing, packaging, and shipping legumes and grains directly to our customers.

Our farm has been a labor of love for decades. Tyler, who has worked on the farm since 2007, graduated from Lewis-Clark State College with a degree in Welding. He and his wife, who met in high school, have faced the challenge of infertility, but are overjoyed to welcome their first child. Tyler's lifelong love of farming is evident, and he looks forward to passing on his knowledge to the next generation.

Mariela joined the Palouse Brand team in 2020, initially in a packaging role for our wheat berries and legumes. She has since grown into a larger role, managing the production side of our warehouse. Mariela embraces the daily challenges and new experiences that come with her responsibilities, constantly expanding her knowledge to guide our team.

Our flagship product, Palouse Brand Kabuli Sierra Chickpeas, exemplifies our commitment to quality and sustainability. These chickpeas are proudly grown on our 125-year-old farm, harvested, triple-cleaned, and packaged to be shipped directly to our customers. They are certified Non-GMO Project Verified, Sustainable by the Food Alliance, and Kosher Parve, ensuring they meet the highest standards.

These chickpeas boast an exceptional shelf life, with a Best By date of 3 years. However, when stored properly in an air-tight container in a cool, dry location, they can last for decades. Our commitment to food safety is uncompromising, as our facilities undergo multiple audits each year to certify that our products are safe for human consumption.
